How to Set up a Palworld Dedicated Server

Newbie friendly, How to Setup a Palworld Dedicated Server guide. Follow the each step to have your own Palworld Server.

You need a dedicated server to host your Palworld server. If you don’t have you can install a Palworld server on your home computer too.

Let’s start.

First create a folder in your desktop.



Visit the SteamCMD website to find SteamCMD tool.



Scroll the page and find the Downloading SteamCMD section.



Download the steamcmd.zip and extract zip file.



Run the steamcmd.exe



Wait until you see Steam>



Type this code : login anonymous and Hit the Enter



You will see the output like above. After that copy and paste this code:

app_update 2394010 validate

This code will download all the required Palworld dedicated server files and validate it.

You will see the downloading process. Wait until it finishes.



Steamcmd finished the Palwolrd Server files download and verified it.



We downloaded the server files successfully.



Go to this folder location to find PalServer.exe.

C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\PalworldServer\steamapps\common\PalServer



In that folder you will see PalServer.exe. This is our game server starter application.



Click the PalServer.exe to run your Palworld Server. That is it. You successfully Setup a Palworld Dedicated Server .

After you click and start the PalServer.exe, a new windows will be opened.



If you close that windows your Palworld Dedicated Server will stop.

You can join your server with your VDS IP address. Don’t forget to add default port end of your IP address.

how do you add the default port end of ip address? i go to launch the palworld dedicated server and it pulls up a window saying it could find the port between 27015 and 27015
